ABOUT ME

WHO I AM?

I am Janika Lõiv and I'm a MTB rider. My main discipline is XCO and I'm a member of the Estonian National MTB team.

My athlete career began in 2003 when I was a middle and long-distance runner. In 2014 I started racing mountain bike for fun. Since 2016 I'm completely focused on cycling and have organized all of my life for full-time MTB training and racing.

He is a certified mind coach who works with business managers and elite athletes. Helping me achieve my full potential in competitions.

MANAGER I Urmas Lõiv
He is my husband and responsible for all of the team management - communications, budget and finances, transport and logistics, etc.

FUN FACTS

I work as a freelance designer to earn money for my cycling career. At the moment I'm 90% self-funded.
In two years I have raised in UCI ranking from around 400th place to about top 20th.
While I was a runner I took part in the 100km running race that I won. But I have never run a marathon.
